Hesco no longer carries the Model L Electrolux motor. Where can you buy this motor?

Thanks,

Hesco never carried a genuine Electrolux model L motor. It was a replacement motor made by Ametek with the correct mounting ring for a model L. The sound and power of that replacement motor were never up to par with the genuine. Since vac shops cannot obtain genuine Electrolux repair parts, this was a substitute that a vac shop could install and the customer would never know it wasn't genuine, as most customers pay no attention to the sound or power of their vacuums.

It's very easy to rebuild Electrolux motors. That's why I buy 'donor' vacuums for a dollar or two from the Kirby dealers. Those make great parts machines.
