You will never have to buy another vacuum cleaner again. What a fantastic pair of finds! I also remember Badata just got a model 28 himself. Wow!

Maybe that comment about you not having to buy another vacuum cleaner again was a little harsh! LOL! That would defeat the purpose of being in this club! I'm just a little edgy because my big out of town trip yesterday only netted a few tools and no vacs, and today's trip before life shuts down for a week only found two open thrift stores out of five. I'll be in touch. Thanks, enjoy the Hoovers and keep the pics coming!

no it was not harsh actually I was not offended at all a lot of people say that to me because I have so many so I do not mind. there was no need for an apology.

To make you feel better I bought the other one for $10. LOL

No, I don't have any Hoovers that old yet. I'm going to scope out the local market before I try eBay.

Nice Find, Mike!

And the original bag makes it even better! The 28 has always been one of my favorite Hoovers. My Aunt had one when I was little, and the church I attended while growing up had one that I used to run frequently as a teenager. The one from the church, which is now in my collection, was expertly refurbished for me last year by Tom Anderson. Thanks again, Tom!
I know what you mean about the shipping. More than once I've bought a vacuum off ebay and the shipping was more than the item!
Jeff

thanks Jeff
these things never die I mean I checked the motor brushes and they have at least 15 more years left in them but knowing these machines they probably last a lot longer than that

Mike
