Is there any vacuum similar to this in the UK?

It's a REALLY CUTE and fantastic Bissell Barbie vacuum! (I don't like the pink though, lol). BUT I would like a vacuum similar to this in design. With suction and a brushbar, how cute! I thought it was a carpet sweeper, but it has REAL suction!

It does really work and makes noise like a real Bissel.Does it run from batteries or plugs in?Not clear as to how its powered. At least the "little Mrs" can help with the housework with this-and boy vac fans, too.Would be neat for the child to use for vacuuming his or her room!

Apparently, this is a rechargeable vacuum which is quite neat!

I had one of those years ago, and it was likely one of the most useless machines I have ever encountered. It could literally hardly pick up anything, and it constantly got clogged.

It was neat as it was a translucent blue and you could see everything inside.

I would stay away!

This was officially available in the UK in a translucent blue colour. It was supposed to be used for quick pick ups like a rechargeble sweeper.

The Go Vac used to be sold at Lakeland stores - a green one was also available.

Then Bissell replaced it with the hand held cordless pet hair version, I believe that was also made with Barbie decals in the U.S (the pet version didn't have a turbine brush but a grid of plastic nibs that are made to catch the hair into the dust channel).

To be honest I think the nearest you're likely to get is the Ewbank Chilli vacuum. At least it is mains corded...

So after reading some of the other entries on this vacuum-sounds like it isn't so "useful" after all.Suppose it would be better to get the child a REAL vacuum for them to use.

Well, it may be useful to some people, just not the collectors on here lol.

Bless Parwaz though, he's always looking for something alternative to a cordless Dyson hand held - and I agree - its always good to know of any alternatives and whether they are worthy or not.

I used to enjoy watching the little videos on Bissel's site.

There was this one, and there was a dark translucent blue one with Matchbox cars (?) on it for the little boys.

They retailed for $30 to $40 and are terrible.

Lol Thank you MR. Nar, I was considering the DC44 but it is a rip off. And a used one wouldn't be good anyways because they always suffer from battery problems etc.
I am now looking at Kirby, Vax, and Sebo vacuum cleaners
