For those of you interested in rebuilding vintage Kirby vacuums, you'll find the link to this site helpful with a few things.  Some the bojack parts will keep your Kirby looking a little more vintage.  For instance, they sell an aftermarket Em-tor tray that's hard to distinguish from an original.

Bill,
Thanks so much for posting this link. There are several bojack Kirby parts that I have been hunting for but can't find... and now, thanks to you, I have. Thanks a ton.
Best wishes,
Justin

That website doesn't usually pop in a google search. But I had it bookmarked and stumbled upon it the other day when I was looking for something else. I've purchased from them in the past. I've bought grey em-tor trays from them. I can't tell the difference from the original!

The VCCC club visited that vac shop a few years ago when the convention was in Minneapolis. It was a great shop with lots of old parts. Many in the club bought parts and machines from this place. I'm not surprised they have old parts because I've been there.
