I have a hoover model 5131 polisher/shampooer, and I have the shampoo brushes, but can't locate a source for the polisher brushes. I think I have located a source for the felt pads and holders, but I'm not sure.

Does anyone have a spare set or know of a source? They need to be the older style with the hex shaped hole.

Hoover polisher brushes

I think I still have at least 1 set but as you have seen they may be surrounded by or buried under 100s of other parts but I think they are on a shelf that will be moved soon. Will let you know.,Jimmy(423-297-6918)

Wish list..

As I said earlier in the thread, I am desperately searching for a set of scrubbing brushes and a set of the felt pads and holders, the wood block in the dining room is in desperate need of a good coat of wax and I dread wrestling the kirby to do it.

I'm sure lambswool pads and holders would either be too difficult to find or out of my budget, but they would be nice to put that showroom shine on the floor.

Holy grail of course would be the shampoo kit I found in a schematic online which has a holding tank for liquid wax or shampoo, a trigger cord to dispense, dispenser tubes, and a diffuser thingy for liquid wax. I found one on eBay for a later model, but nothing for a model as early as mine.
