In the Model G PN-1 power nozzle brochure it mentions a swivel lock that can be attached to the hose connection at the machine to keep the cord from wrapping around the hose.

I wonder if the CBs (commercial tanks) had the same?

Please tell me how effective they are, and if they were standard or optional. I would take for granted that they were made at least until the pigtail electric cords were introduced.

Any information you have will be appreciated.

Yes

they were available on the CB. It included a Green Rubber ring that had to be put on where the hose connected. It worked very well. They were with the Power Nozzle when one bought the CB. There never was a pig tail hose for the CB or CB2000. They were 10 foot spiral lock hoses.

G or L,Standard or Pigtail

The swivel lock was also for any hose used on L or G style vacs.As above was part of Power Nozzle when put on standard hose and was part of pigtail hose.Easily removable and very good at reducing wear on electric cord.

Thanks for the information, John and Jimmy.

I wonder if they cracked after awhile or were just easily lost. I have several hoses with pigtail cords and none of them have swivel locks.

Anyway, if I make it down to your warehouse, Jimmy, that will be another item I'd like.

Another page

showing swivel lock. Swivel lock that is shown will work on the G and L.If you look at the front of the L which came out in 1963 you will see the indentation for the swivel lock to fit.

Thanks a lot for the info, John. I am anxious to get some swivel locks and try them out on my canisters!
