Just to give everyone a few updates!
There is now 5 Shark products in Australia:
Navigator Lift Away $399
Navigator Pro Lift-Away $499
Rotator Lift-Away $599
Rocket NV300 $599
Sonic Duo $499

The Rotator and 2x Navigator Models are available in retail stores and the other 2 are currently TV only models.

Something that is interesting (keeping in mind that uprights are not the most popular style in australia) is that the top 5 uprights in Australia, according to GFK data are Dyson DC41, Shark Rotator, Navigator and Navigator Pro and the Volta Pet Lover!)

For a company that wasn't really here until 2-3 years ago, that's an impressive feat.

They are a company that seem to have come from nowhere. Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't they (Euro Pro) by Fantom during the first few years of this millennium ? Fantoms where white good vacuums weren't they ?

I don't know Shark vacuums seem to genuinely be decent products. Relatively well built, easy to use and they perform well. Im waiting for the UK to get the Rocket. We have just got the Rotator lift away and upright. Shark EU says they are going to bring the rocket over here soon.

Came in the post a week ago.. it's fantastic! I really like it, only 550w but its really powerful. I don't think I'd want it to be my only vacuum but I certainly rather it over a dyson stick DC35 that I used to have.

I love all the attachments too... bad news - $599
