Now, I'm upto two 519's and a Classic

A friend is looking for a vintage Kirby, so what do you guys think?
Do I give her one of the 519's, or the Classic?
I'm kind of partial to giving her the Classic, since I have all the accessories for the 519's.

Whichever I don't give away I want to restore.

Does anyone have a complete set of matching color bumpers, buttons, wheels and trim for either a 519 or a Classic?
I'm ready and willing to buy if you have the parts I need!

Mike

If you really love the 519 I would give her the Classic III. Then you have spare parts for your 519 in case anything happens.

Parts from Kirby or on ebay
Nozzle bumper - tan 140462
Belt lifter assembly - (doesn't say what color) 144356
Wheel - tan 132062
Emtor Tray - (it only comes in black now) 186062
Bag Guard - (it only comes in black or green now) 191684
Bag top cover - Tan 191865
Headlight Cap bumper - tan 161956

I know Kirbyfans on ebay had the tan belt lifter.

519 should have still been gray or red in color. Generally Kirby uses the red for the Classic III and the gray hasn't been available for a while.

Although if you hit some of the older Kirby repair shops they may still have some of the older trim. I know there was also an aftermarket trim kit in red for a long time.
