Hello,
it has been a while since I last posted... I have recently acquired an Electrolux oxygen 3 upright, sadly I cannot seem to get the thing to turn on. now I know that it isn't a true Electrolux and is made by Eureka, but being an electrolux collector I figured it would be a nice machine to have. I have checked all of the wiring and all seems good, all of the currents seem to be ok on the circuit board but for some reason I think the board is bad. I am not positive though because I do not work on too much of this digital circuit board stuff these days. any advise or help would be greatly appreciated. :)

Mike

This is a really good vaccum.

Maybe it is something in the cord winder or motor that could be checked with a voltage tester. If not, I would replace the power switch first. There is a schematic for EL5035A online if this helps. I included a link. I have not had the issue myself, but have ordered extra back wheels and bearings and back piece in case the wheels ever have failure. Hope this is of some assistance.

Hi tyler, the current coming into the machine is coming in at 115 with my meter, I don't think it is the cord winder but will look into the switch this evening... I am hoping it isn't the board because I am really looking forward to using this machine!

thanks for the schematics and hopefully you can help with any other questions that I might have :)
