I noticed recently that there are a few differences on the brush rolls on the Kenmore Intuition and Elite uprights. The blue/green Intuition bagged and the new silver Elite bagged actually have two motors in their brush rolls and they are direct drive. The red Intuition bagged and white Intuition bagless have just one motor in theirs and they are also direct drive. However, the new silver Intuition bagged has a single motor with a belt drive.

I was wondering if there is a noticeable difference in how the double and single motor direct drive brush rolls perform vs the two motor version, and how do they compare to the single motor belt drive? And isn't it weird that they went back to a belt drive model, when for quite a few years all their uprights with two motors were direct drives?
