Hello I am looking for a hoover Model 61 it is one of my favorite dreyfuss designs but when they pop up on ebay I have no luck getting them because they are too expensive. I am also looking for a model 262 that would be another. I am a very big fan of Henry Dreyfuss and would like to get as much as I can. I already have a hoover aero Dyne and a model 28. if you can help thank you very very much I will really appreciate it

The 262...

...is the British version. You'd want the Model 26, on which it was based. Almost identical, except it has the full wrap-around motor band, whereas in the UK, only 262's made in 1939 have this - making them very rare! The post-war ones just had a ratings plate on the front of the motor cowl.

model 28

Hello
I just bought a model 28 on ebay last night and should be recieving it within the next 3 to 5 days. I am sitll looking for the Model 612 because of its designs. I love the low profile hood on the machine also the way the letters are written. I mean the font that was used is awesome.

Here is My 61

It was polished by the vac shop that I bought it at in the late 90's in California. I replaced the bag and got a set of tools. Not exactly correct, but fabulous. Keep looking, these machines are still available.
