I have one of those, It was a sample vacuum here in SA, its only been used a few imes by me. It has awesome suction though the filter can get dirty quickly, its easy to clean and like all ( Non dyson ) bag less vacuums in my collection I wash the filter after each use.
I once grabbed it as it was the nearest vacuum when we just moved into our new shop, It was late at night and I was trying to get the place done and needed to vacuum some plaster dust off the carpet, You could actually see the dust bouncing off the carpet in-front of the machine ( illuminated by the machines headlight) as I vacuumed.
This is one, if not my most favorite Non dyson bagless uprights out there. |

I've tried every where I could think of, and couldn't find one. The lid wasn't in the dumpster I found it in and I'll try to find a parts machine to get one off of. |

I've seen those in purple and tan, but never green. Did they come in other colors? |

They actually do a very good job. They don't have as much suction as the bagged versions, but they have the same super-aggressive agitator. Because of a leaky switchover door for the tools, the tool suction is much worse than it should be. Like other Hoovers from that era, they come with a full set of Hoover cleaning tools, which I always appreciated. Give it a tune-up, and you'll be happy with its performance!
The friendly old man that vacuums the office I work at uses a commercial Hoover Empowerment. He takes good care of it, and keeps the HEPA filter clean. I used it once, and I was actually surprised by how well it cleaned. |
