The fusion is the odd one out for down here in OZ, I won it on Australian ebay it's 240 volt and has the correct power plug. But they have never been sold here ??? The 262 still works I just need to find a bag for it, think I have one in storage somewhere.
Love the colour of the One Peformer it's brand new and going back in it's box and the bagged Discovery is also new. Happy with the U1104 Junior in orange now I just need the green one to make the set.

And a U4058 Senior from the UK, it was purchased from the Co-op in Bristol on the 2/2/1982. I have the commerical Australian made one of this also in black and orange in storage.

Love the Senior and Junior, hell the Turbopower Junior looks ok due to it's odd colour scheme :)

When did they do those red/white and blue/white Juniors anyway? I never see em in the old brochures.

Love the U4058...Is it a front conversion for the tools or does it use the older rear conversion? I wish we had this design in the US. I really like the color too.

Tom,

It's a rear conversion and I agree the colour is just so bright.

I like your Discovery canister, and all the others are pretty cool too. Nice beginning!

U1104S and Stuff....

Hey Mark

Nice additions :). The U4058 was an exclusive model to the Co-Op and the only model of that design sold over here.

Im facinated by the Fusion- maybe they were imported by a particular retailer?.

Did the discovery come from UK Ebay with a European plug on by chance?- I was quite tempted myself lol!.

The 1104s are both exclusive variants- the Red one would have come from an Electricity Board shop and I believe the Blue was the Currys version- also they would be from 86 not 76 ;).

Cheers
Seamus

And the One...

Hey Mark (again lol)

How have you found the One?- Ive only used one once and was pretty impressed, seems the later versions are a huge improvement on the original, also every customer we sold one to who has replaced a Dyson seems to have been happy. Sadly they are now discontinued, the only bagless upright Hoover do is the Dust(mis)manager :(.

Ah, it seems they started the new look juniors earlier than I thought.

Of course most of the "new style" Juniors i've seen are from the 1980s, ya know all Brown and Cream etc.

Hey Seamus,

Thanks for the date pick up, thats what I get for posting after half a bottle of wine. Your correct the Discovery did come from a guy in the UK with a euro plug, nice machine one of the last Hoover cleaners to be made in Europe.

The One has great suction but thier build quality is pretty poor, but sort of think they will be future collectables so I have three of them now. Here's the pic of the Infinity model.
