I know this isnt the spot to ask but i know you all know what your talking about what is the deal with dysons i see them all the time in garage sales trash at curb or goodwill or something why does know one keep them i had one it was very heavy in my opinion but what else.

Yes, they require a lot of maintenance and at least half of dyson owners do not give their machine adequate maintenance :(

Would rather Chuck their cleaner to the curb when it clogs up, then buy the newest model to show off to the neighbors! Dyson are more of a status symbol then a vacuum cleaner (and when it is a cabin cleaner, it isn't a good one!)

It's funny

To read reviews on people that own dysons. They are like just got the new model after my other one gave me five great years of service. It's like they feel like five years was an eternity, which I guess it was compared to a cheap dirt devil but still . People are becoming more and more clueless and if they went to a vac store they would know what a real status symbol vac is like a tacony product, Miele, sebo etc.
