Take some

Vaseline or grease and lubricate the rubber gasket inside the metal emptor and also put some on the notch where it locks into pins .

If you ever come down to oregon, I can put it back on in 10 minutes. But if you dont have time for that, try to put the emptor on the machine and try to put it back on that way. Use flat head screw drivers to try to stretch it back on too.

And Dan, I think he meant he was trying to get the bag back onto the emptor.

its late I miss read that but that helps to make emptor easier to go on and off.
The bag you must use a screw driver or something to help but be careful not to tear bag .

Of course. "Dax" wants to successfully remount the Emtor to the motor.

I tried everything I knew with no success...UNTIL....I tried a pair of boot pullers. I live in Nashville (where wearing Cowboy boots is required). They are long metal handles with broad hooks at the end. This enabled me to put one in and leave it there, and use the other to stretch the bag over the lip and get it rolled on. It worked like a charm!

Dax,

Kirby makes a special lube in which remounting the Emtor to the motor is easier.

Dax,

The cloth bag has this strong spring at the bottom that requires some effort to fit it around the opening.
