I saw this old ad and it (the ad) still worked, i want one, or at least know more about them. Looked through the archives and didn't see anything so i'm posting it to shack some info from the wisdom tree here at VL.

There were 3 different models of this style: the 200, 210 and 220

I have the model 210 in my collection (see below). These machines were a last ditch effort by the Lewyt corporation, in 1961, to stave off bankruptcy due to the lawsuits resulting from the problems with the model 111 and 121. Unfortunately it was too little too late and Lewyt went bankrupt later that year.

Does anyone have either of the other models?

I never see vacuums manufactured before the late sixties, of any type or brand, from the sources i use.
Lewyt seemed to make some great stuff, this, the Big wheel etc.
What's the news from Moose Jaw?

Hey Robert:

Lewyt had some really interesting designs for their machines.

As for new in Moose Jaw. Not a lot at the moment. Just shovelling snow (and shovelling and shovelling....) Hope to be working on a major expansion of my display at the museum here this year. Time will tell.

Doug

But a warning, soon enough you're gonna want your next vac to be an ALL-NEW Lewyt with Power Booster too.
