I recently came across a 20x20 storage shed filled with old vacuum cleaners and parts. I have the old AirWay Sanitizers, Electolux's Eurekas and Hoovers...and boxes of parts, brushes for motor...everything. Does anyone know what the value of theses items might be or if anyone is even interested. If not, then they are going to the dump. hlrayjr@yahoo.com

The value for any of these parts or machines boils down to whatever someone is willing to pay for it. If you post more information about what you have (pictures are even better!) I'm sure you'll get a good response.

Feel free to privately email me ejlong1@verizon.net
I'd be curious to what HOOVER items might be available (for purchase, of course!)

I saw the vacuums. . .

I must say there are a TON of old vacuums and parts, the old Airways are now mine, as are some spare Electrolux Motors and a TON of model XXX Carbon Brushes. Truly an amazing collection!

I'm interested if you have parts for the older Hoovers and if you have Filter Queen parts. I live in Fritch so I won't be able to get over there right away and I'll send you an email later.

The motor brushes are over $5.00 & up, you should get a good return!

I just saw some photos of the collection--lots of disassembled parts along with cleaners and attachments. Whatever isn't purchased for personal collections could be used for training how to repair and lube motors, repaint the bodies, and assemble parts (a hint to those of you who own stores--or even the Vacuum Museum. Anyway, I hope none of the collection will be discarded.
