oh, why hello there! you wouldn't believe the encounter I had today with this cute little old brown Electrolux tank!

Let's begin, shall we?

Allright, so here I am, going down the road to a store, and lookie there! an Electrolux 1205 style cleaner in brown (Whatever that model is, be a dear and fill me in on this). "Well, I'll pick that up on my way home!". So on my return trip from the store, my heart sank as a truck was parked by it. the truck's turn signal was on, and I feared the worst.

Sure enough, A SCRAPPER.

The vacuum hunter's natural enemy, the SCRAPPER proceeded to throw the tank in his truck as I pulled up and jumped out the car. I IMMEDIATELY ran over and questioned him, even offering to buy what he just took! I don't even think he spoke english, for he threw that tank in his truck and drove off without a word.

Scrappers, sometimes good, others bad. I have some friends who are scrappers themselves, and they lookout for me as far as vacuum wise, but in today's case, That guy is lucky I didn't run him off the road over that vacuum cleaner!Laughing

Do you have any similar stories to tell? please do!

Oh and here's a washing machine:{#emotions_dlg.Washer-3}

If you see something out like this don't wait! It's almost never there when you come back. Opportunity only knocks once!

That is very true.

People have found things for me like that. You never know WHERE you'll find treasures. Of course, you never know where you'll find trash, either.
I always clean these items thoroughly. You never know where they've been. their history. Some prized vacs have come from stange places.
I once was accused of having bugs in my vacs.... could you die??? (Like I'd do that)!! People have given me cleaners when emptying a friend's or family home. Some of us are very glad to get them, and appreciate them. Right? Then, I have some out of the box and vault maxchines. They're considered used now. Some people wuld do anything for them... and have. I cherish mine. I know all of the guys enjoy them at all of my mini meets. There'll be more, too.
