Hello,

I just scored an Electrolux flared crevice tool at a second-hand store for $1.50 that looks to be the color of the LX and LXI. It doesn't seem to be plastic but another kind of material.

Anyway, it's pretty scratched up. In fact much of the paint has been worn off.

Two things I need from you:

1) What type of paint should I use to repaint it?

2) Is there a special 'blue-gray' color that would be a perfect match or very similar?

Hi Kevin.

As far as I know, our pain expert is Crevicetool. At one of our conventions, he gave us a paint chart with actual color chips. They were dead-on accurate. Contact him to get the formula.

Good luck,

Alex Taber.

Thanks Alex. I'll contact Crevicetool.

Hi Kevin.

Contacting Crevicetool about a crevice tool, you've got to love that. Actually, Electrolux called it a 'Narrow space cleaner,' but I couldn't help finding the pun here.

Happy Valentines day to you and that special person in your  life.

Alex Taber.

LOL Alex re: contacting Crevicetool about the crevice tool!

Now that you mention it, I saw a contemporary Electrolux manual that still referred to the "narrow space cleaner", so maybe they never used the term "crevice tool".

Happy St. Valentines Day to you and yours too!
