Eureka Model 2385 Cordaway! I found it at a local thrift shop, marked $24, but everything in the store was 1/2 off, so I paid $12. On first inspection, it was a bit dirty and had no belt- No big deal. I got it home, and threw a belt on. It runs great, everything works, although it could probably use a set of new brush strips (VG1). I did discover that there is a hole broken in the bag connector, which was taped over- again, no big deal. (The actual bag is in excellent condition, only a small worn spot at the bottom) Will glue a piece of plastic on from the inside. All original, metal fan, cord winder works perfect, power touch handle works, has a 2 speed, 3.5 amp motor that runs great. I can't believe the condition this thing is in, especally for its age (I'm guessing early to mid 70's?), only a few real scratches, mostly just scuff marks. I gave it a good wipe down and have vacuumed the whole house with it.

Right at home vacuuming the 70's red carpet in our guest bedroom- I didn't care for the carpet when we moved in, but it's in good shape and the color is growing on me. It's only in the one room though.

Beautiful "Continental" Eureka! It hails from mid to late 1970's...probably 1979 or 1978.

Love the streamlined hood and the classy cursive lettering on the front....

Yes, it does have a shag setting, but I don't have a carpet in this house deep enough to use it! The deepest pile carpeting in the house can be cleaned between "normal" and "high"
