There has been this light blue air way 55a on craigslist for several months. It has 3 bags, but nothing else but the hose and dusting brush. It appears to be in decent shape. He says it is rare. He wants $100 for it, which seems high to me, but I can't be sure. Can somebody clarify if its rare, and what it is realistically worth?

I agree with Evan, I definitely would not pay $100 for a 55A, especially for one lacking attachments. Just be patient, and one is sure to turn up at a price you can afford. My 55A was a gift from my good friend and fellow collector Norm Brown when he was downsizing his collection (thanks again, Norm!). Here's a pic of it, a real beauty and runs great. Only things I'm missing are the felt polisher, sprayer, and instruction book.
