Took motor apart full of dust dirt ect .Bearing are smooth as silk ..
Now for the problem im having how in the lord do you make the dang thing work .
Put it back together now wont turn on so I mess up some were .
Any one has a picture of the motor so I could find my mistake.
I turn the motor by hand sounds great no noise smooth .
So I guess I put it together the wrong way .Original Compact turbo brush eureka style power head .
Any advice or pictures would help me first power head that I rebuilt I turn it by hand sounds smooth no bearing noise ect .Would run nice when im done so help please thanks .

goes together ok but no go wotn turn on no noise nothing so im stuck first time rebuilding a motor like this was extremely dirty so what did I do wrong any help is welcome thanks a lot

I dont see any motor brushes in it. Did you forget to add the motor brushes on re asemlby?

As in the motor is physically frozen?

Did you be sure to re-connect the carbon brushes at their correct terminals? 

What about all that wiring? why is it all black? should their not be a neutral white wire?

Nope all black wires and I did put the carbon brush back and no the motor will turn just not when I plug it in .
All black wires in that thing strange for me to . When I spin the motor by hand it turns freely no noise ect but when I plug the dang thing in no go wont turn.
Brush terminals aah dang it I knew I forgot some thing .....
ok that's my problem Ill let you know .Beginers error sweet niblits as they say

ill connect the terminal and give it a try again . Thanks for all the help
Yes it spins by hand not when plug in .

put the carbon brush tried evry trick I know in the book and .... sad to say that's shes done power head is kaput wont turn on no noise nothing turns by hand perfectly pulg it in ... no go nothing so ya motor is out need a new one EBAY TIME IGUESS .just bum out about it beaucause I payed for my compact my self work over tiem to get it now this just sucks wel lnew motor in my power head ill get her going or new power head all together

I can probably repair it if you sent it to me. Im sure shipping costs would be less than buying a new one.

from Canada to Us mayby wel lsee I shaw on ebay a new motor for compact power head is about 30$ plus 13 shippin thanks a lot for the help really appreciate it I cant figure out were I whent wrong whit it wires , bearrign or carbo brush im confuse ill check for a motor or bye a new one ill let you know im not sure yet takin a step back to think about it i.l let ya know thanks a lot
