So today's the day I can finally give my Kirbys some attention.
I've got a heritage a classic and a gsix besides belt changes what else can be done to ensure they are running at top performance?

On my friends older Kirby, I want to say Omega? Mid 70s, I would change the belt, check the beaterbrush and adjust and take the bag off, turn it inside out and vacuum it with another machine, seemed to help, even sounded different.

I replace bearings, brushes, I clean out the motor for better cooling, and I clean off the fan. If you want to get a rebuilt heritage power plant, email me at baier.evan70@gmail.com
