No festive ones, but this is a picture (from an eBay auction) of a poster that I wish to obtain again:

KIRBY - BUILDING OF A LEGEND (1988)

Models shown (the selection of vacuums chosen for this poster are those models that pioneered the features that made the Kirby the vacuum cleaner the best product for you)
Grasshopper (1914)
Wireless Vacuette (1919)
Electric Vacuette (1925)
Scott & Fetzer Sanitation System (1928-1934)
Kirby Model C (1934-1937) (model shown is the 1935 updated version with the black belt cover; the very first Kirby C's had a gold belt cover)
Kirby Model 2C (1938-1939)
Kirby Model 505 (1945-1947)
Kirby Model 509 (1949-1950)
Kirby Model 516 (1956-1957)
Kirby Sanitronic System Model 562 (1962-1963)
Kirby Dual Sanitronic 80 (1967-1970) - inexplicit; while the Roll-O-Waxer (later Miracle Waxer) was indeed new to this model, the Rug Renovator actually first showed up on the Dual Sanitronic 50 (1965-1967)
Kirby Classic (1970-1973)
Kirby Classic Omega (1973-1976)
Kirby Classic III (1976-1979)
Kirby Tradition (1979-1981)
Kirby Heritage (1981-1984) - model shown is the early 1984 limited edition "Heritage 84"
Kirby Heritage II (1984-1987)

The vacuum shown in the center of the picture is the updated Heritage II Legend (1987-1989)

Ben, isnt it strange that Kirby would leave out the Dual Sanitronic 50, and the models between the 516 and the DS80 other than the model 562,,but still at the same time show the Classic 1CR and the Classic Omega, which are almost identical. Ive always found that to be weird. Oh well,,,they didnt ask me. haha

Brian,

I sort of see your view; the Classic Omega's only changes were of its motor assembly which was now double-insulated (plus a scuff plate where the motor switch is), and an enclosed headlight and new-style toe-touch height adjuster.

The Classic III could also more or less have been eliminated from this lineup since none of its changes were really noteworthy (serial number on fan case, and the "Vis-A-Belt" on the rug nozzle; which itself was dropped entirely when the Tradition was replaced by the Heritage).

Exactly. The Classic Omega is more related to the Classic 3 than it is to a Classic 1CR. Strange that Kirby would leave out the Dual Sanitronic 50,,with its illuminated headlight hood and all. And isnt the DS 50 considered the 50th anniversary model? Strange.
