Started on a hoover model 29 and I'm going give it a base that shines better then a Kirby. Anyone think I'm nuts? lol

Nope! I tried to make a shiny junior once, sadly it did not work. Can't wait to see yours when finished

Yeah

Here's the base, still have to to do some touch ups. Deciding on whether to do the handle the same but that's metal so I would have to clear coat it

Wow that's great. You going to mirror it or leave it brushed?

Was the base in good condition to start with, or have you done alot of remedial grinding to fix it?

You could make a mirrored vinyl bag to go with it for ultimate tacky points!

Lol

Lol yeah I'm going for the mirror finish and the base was in great shape just had to pound out one little dent. I have been looking for someone to make me a bag because all my machines bags dry rotted from being in a dirt basement for 30 years
