The other day my Dad bought this off the local sale page on Facebook for £5. It came with all the original paperwork, brushes & pads & looks practically brand new. I have uploaded some pictures as the instructions say it's from 1994 but I took a picture of the rating plate as I know some of you are able to find the year/month from the serial number.i have seen the F4002 under different colour schemes before but I have never seen any in this colour

Any more info on the F4002 would be helpful.

Frontage, looking very 90s!

(Notice the passed quality control sticker)

That's a Candy rating sticker - it says it was made in 2002 - week 42, so I'd say it was October 2002.

Amazing what bargains you can pick up for a fiver though. I never thought of shopping for vacs on Facebook though

1994 is probably the date that the design was launched and the instructions were first written, so its a late model of an older design.

I bought a slightly older version from the carboot for a tenner, all the pads but no instructions. Does a brilliant job of deep cleaning my mums large lino kitchen 4-5 times a year, with George following behind to dry the floor.

Nice handy find!

I would recommend buying Vacuums of Facebook Steve, you can find some bargains sometimes!
