This is a great idea. I will have to try it next time I sell a canister vacuum.

Ha just put that out there before people start wondering!

Suppose it proves that it does work though, if it has a hose ask for a pic of the glove on the end of that on the blower port!

What kind of Electrolux is that?

Hi mieles7

That is a late model XXX (30), and was the longest running Electrolux of all time. It was introduced around Christmas 1937, and ran until sometime around 1955. In the beginning it was the darling of the country, and after the introduction of the new automatic model LX (60), which was very expensive, the model XXX was the machine for people who wanted an Electrolux for a lower price. Here's a picture of one of my model XXX's, outfitted with the Cord winder, and ride on tool holder called the Companion, as well as the air powered polisher.

Sometimes people demo their vacs on Youtube and put the link in eBay auctions.

I did that once, it's a good idea as people are more interested when they know the machine defiantly works lol.

That might be a good way to air test linemans gloves for leaks--esp at the fingertips-a hole in linemens gloves could mean DEATH to the lineman wearing them! The fingers and palms of their gloves are prime wear points-This would be for the rubber inner gloves you wear inside the leather outer ones.
