This must be in your Dyson upright DC04, DC07, DC14, DC33 etc or else it wont lift mats well, and block the large debris channel in the DC14 and dc33 for the full suction :D and theres one at the top of either the soleplate or the floating head

** The DC07 is a fully working, genuine DC07 but it has a DC04i or absolute+ dusting brush which looks like its made for the DC07 but is not, it just comes off because of no ring in the swivel joint end for it to clip into

Very good Tayyab! Not a big fan of the DC07s as I used to be, since getting my DC04 the 04s are much nicer to use. Dual Cyclone separates about 80% of the dust anyways, so it's all good! Still think that you next addition should Hoover Turbopower 1, like a Junior U1426 (like mine) or a basic hardbag one (such as a U1050). | ||

The DC14s are allright vacs. However, My 14 Animal is loud, not as a loud as an 07. It does the job though and I like it. But for a study vacuum, that has to go to an all steel Numatic such as an NVQ250 or an NV250, can't beat those Tayyab i'm afraid! | ||

 We had a customer recently who brought her DC07 she bought from us back because of an "ear splitting noise" it was making.
We plugged it in and tried it. I asked her "When does it make the noise?"
She said, "Well, that's it! Can't you hear it?"
The machine sounded perfectly normal.
I don't think they are so noisy. But then again, maybe I am used to them. | ||

My friend commented on how noisy his de ropted 07 was. I considered it normal, and told him to wait a year or so for it to block up again ans quieten down... | ||

The newer ones will get dusty in a year then need washing out in order to get the full sound from it :P | ||
