weight....
I don't think people realize how much difference there is using these steam vacs on different "types" of carpet.....Berber is so LOW that it's as if it's just barely touching the carpet...I always felt like I was totally wasting my time and leaving the carpet more wet than it should be... At first, I just laid the weight on the top and when I saw how much more water I was able to get out and examined the bottom as is pushed it across the rug with the weight on, and saw that it wasn't really harming anything, I then just used some packing tape to tape the weight on each side...It added weight to the machine, but I didn't care because it made it work 10 x better than before! |
