My Kirby G3 is rather... Interesting.
Ever since I got it back in July, it's made some weird noises. Whenever I push it in neutral when it's on, it start to make a noise almost indescribable. It's fine in Drive mode, but it's like it's not fully getting out of drive mode. It's harder to push in neutral when it's off then any other Kirby I've ever owned. I'm assuming that the previous owners would turn the machine off in drive mode then switch over, causing the gears to grind. However, could this just be a simple fix like some grease or something? Will it stay in the current position if the next owner (I'm giving it to a friend) turned it over to neutral while it's still on? I'm going to upload a video of the sound when I get home after lunch. |

It probably just needs a new bracket cam assembly and some fresh grease. |
