Why carry that briefcase around, When it can now follow behind you!

What I've acquired today is what appears to be a 1983 HOOVER Porta-Power, with Wheeled carriage assembly. It does have the disposable bag system , and of-course, will be in the spa quite shortly.

(Pictured next to it is a first-generation Early Sanitare Mighty-Mite, with style C set-up).

Oreck version...

Alex, I have the Oreck version called the Power Pak. Has the wheels, 7.4 amp. motor, black body with white bag door/cord, hose and standard Hoover tools, just no lettering. Apparently Oreck commissioned Hoover to supply them with these. Mine was gifted to me by Kenny Loveland from the club. It's like new, even smells new when you turn it on. Sure beats the hell out of the older Buster B models. Would like to know the history of when, how, etc. this partnership came about. I have worked for Oreck part-time for over 8 yrs. now and had never seen one, must've had a short production time.

I remember a version of hoover portapower with a powernozel. I am pretty sure there was one. Saw it in K mart years ago.
