People unclear on the concept...

So I got a nice email asking me why I was posting eBay auctions when I myself have railed against the practice.

Okaaaaay, is anyone seriously considering bidding on either of these visions of loveliness? If so, then I do sincerely apologize for posting them here.

?!

Who wouldn't start bidding over $200.00 for number one? I wouldn't.

Well, it wasn't that nice. I was being a little bit sarcastic.

I have my suspicions as to who sent it -- not someone who is one of the regular posters here but a non-registered lurker.

That line has had me laughing so much. I get such a kick out eBay and craigslist descriptions. thanks for sharing.

Oh, and I for one would not bid on either of these. The first one is only .99, but he doesn't specify the shipping. It would have to be 99 cents w FREE shipping for me to enter a bid.

I didn't get all bent because Charles posted those auctions, I knew there was a reason. I still think all of the people in this club scan eBay and elsewhere daily for buys or daydreaming. It's a shame(like I found out)that one has to worry about flaming or abrasive private emails. Whoever sent that, lighten up!!
