YES! Its a brand new model, last serie of vorwerk kobolds.

I buy the biggest packet, so i have everything. I made a quick test of everthing. And i can say just: ITS AMAZING!

The vaccum is really light. Like there is no motor inside. The motor is care free with no brushes. Extremely powerfull and quiet.

The switch. It have an A (automatic) function. So when you have a power nozzle on it he adjust the suction depends on the type of te carpet and the high of the floor.

The bag is quite small i must say. I always say that the newer the model of the vaccum is. The smaller and more expensive the bags are.

Otherwise the vaccum dont have any filter, because ist everything in the bag. Anti oudor perls, hepa filter, water axcident filter...

The power nozzle: 100w, soft function (reduce the rpm for gentle agitation for high floor carpets). Automatic floor adjustment.

And this is a new attachment from vorwerk house. It replace the Pulilux floor polisher, that older models have.
Its a great tool. You can vaccum and wet moping the floor at the same time. And the performance ist just great. You can also dry polish your floor due the different cloth.

From the other side.
And another great feature. The attachment will turn off itself and the vaccum if you axcidently vaccum water from the floor.

The polsterboy. Its like a mini power nozzle. For upholstery, car, cleaning the fluff from the clothes. Its also motor driven.

Will the Kobolds be available here in the USA?

I love the fact that Vorwerk - like most other German vacmakers - minimizes the size of their brandname on the vacuum itself. They let the beautiful industrial design speak for itself. This is unlike so many North American vacs which are often emblazoned with gigantic brandnames and labels promoting the features of the machines....:-(

USA

As i know...no :/ but since im in contact with boss in Slovenia and Germany... it would be a good suggestion!

And yes. I love their style. Ofcourse it was a shock when i get information about new models in non vorwerk style (green&white). But now when im using it...i could cry because of happiness :) And vorwerk never had a big commercials etc. Well on their pages, they have a lot of explanations about those cleaning systems and also about thermomix. But i never see a commercial on tv or in the newspaper. Its a product that sell itself. Who know those products know what im saying.

Hello Koboldlover, I'm from Ital and though I'm a good collectors of vacuum cleaners in general,I'm very fond of kobolds , as many italians are.
First of all my warmest congratulations about your purchases: despite kobold vk 150 has nothing different tfrom the actual model vk 140 ( at least over here) it is and will be for long an appliance of great daily help to clean your home and save a lot of time, and I like it very much. I haven't bought it yet but I will ( at least for collector's duty) but I have was astonished the day I saw the colours. I understand that the Thermomix /bimby (great cooking machine) is somenthing that stays in the kitchen and a white/grey color scheme makes it fit almost any place, but I can't really explain myself the reason why, after 60 years in whose the kobold, in certain countries become synonimous of vacuum cleaner, from anybody recognized indepenently from period and model for the green and ivory color scheme, had to become something common, something that you barely could distinguish from a Sebo Felix or a Lindhaus, weren't it fro its shape and the Vorwerk Logo. This is something i'm extremely disappointed with, so much that I won't buy that model from the distributor as it will be available here, and i 'll probably buy a used one, just to keep the timeline proceeding. What do you think about this?
Nothing to say about quality, ease of use, performance, variety and quality of tools/accessories.
Yes, the people who buy kobolds really love to use their accessories!
A P.S. for you: though the Pulilux hasn't probably been available in white/grey yet I don't think they will discontinue it. The floor washer with its orbital pad will never be able to equal the power of three rotating brush pads for polishing and buffing hard floors...wut how well does it wash and clean? It's incredible
my two cents.
With regards,
Tommy

Hey Tommy!

I know the popularity in Italy with Folleto and Bimby products.
And yes. Its the same like vk140. Despite the colour and the "stomach" for bag dont have a Kobold sign on it but the vorwerk logo.
And i was in ecstasy when i see the prototype when i was in Germany in Wuppertal on Vorwerk company. For information. Im not a kobold dealer but i teach other people in Slovenia how to make a presentation for kobold and thermomix. I also have cooking classes for thermomix. I could say that im in love with vorwerk products. But im also dissapointed about exsactly the same thing as you!!! Kobolds in their colours were really a synonymous for cleanliness and good performance. But now? When we were on the fair a lot of people werent recognize the new model due the new colour. And the base with EB is a little similar to Sebo felix. And im a little angry about that because the speciality of vorwerk products was that they never look similar to any other competitive product.
So i feel you! ;)

And i really use all of the accesories for kobold. But a lot of people dont know the use for all the attachments or they use it the wrong way. :/

And about the Pulilux. As they were told me, the pulilux is removed from the attachment list due the Puli lava attachment.

About the performance: I tested both the attachment. And its a really big difference. The PB clean really well. Also remove very hard stains and dirt from the floor, which PL didnt do so well. And the washable cloths are more hygenic in my oppinion. You can see different type of cloths. And i could say that im a clean freak. And i use to have so clean floors in my house that you can eat from them. :D
But when i see the cloth after the cleaning i was shocked. The cloth was really dirty! :O And the floors really look clean!
About the polishing: PL is good. But when i polished the parquet with DRY cloth and Kobolin polish it was like day and night with comparing to PL. PB spread the polish very evenly. And the polishing its faster than with PL.
In generally i will miss the PL just for cleaning profiled floors because you can do that with PB. But for everything else...parquet, tiles, stone...is PB far more better.
I repeat : I say that in my oppinion.
Im excited about your oppinion when you gonna try it!
