If only new Numatic Henrys, Hettys, Harrys, James (the lot!) came with the eye stickers like the 80s ones did. That's what would make Henry more 'complete.' I wouldn't mind paying extra for it on the new ones either! I think it would bring more customers in from a marketing perspective.

Eye stickers

I confess that I was unaware that modern 'Henries' don't have eye stickers!! Are the eyes now screen-printed, or absent altogether??? Please forgive my ignorance, as I avoid white goods / electrical goods shops like the plague. I have more than enough old/vintage appliances to outlast my lifetime.... ;)

All best

Tim - Agreed, it would be much better!

Dave - The eyes are now screen printed at the factory. Well, that being said, they were printed at the factory up until early 2013, when Numatic introduced a new feature; the 3D face, which stands out a bit more compared to the normal printed face. See picture below. :)

was making 'eyes' at the iron across the room. I'm just sayin', I'd leave those lights on.

Actually when I think about it, with Henry's nose effectively being where the dust channel is... he could become "Coco" as in the "Cocaine"/ "Coke" Vacuum cleaner lol

Words can't describe what this caption says - what a story! Poor Henry doesn't know if he's coming or going. Im not sure what he is thinking judged by his look! I bet the repair shop guys had a right old laugh!
