Hi everyone,

I've come across this image on the internet, and it looks like a 90's Numatic George, in yellow! Was this machine an exclusive to any where? I've never seen it before.

Any info given is much appreciated.

Have a great day all!

Joe

I remember servicing one just like this and thinking the colour was odd a few years back. Maybe a limited edition ?

George came in blue and red too!

Most Numatic cleaners were available in at least four colours. The fact of the matter was that Numatic chose to showcase Henry in red, George in green, Basil in yellow, and Charles in blue, and these combinations are what most independent retailers stocked, but they could have chosen to order in any colour available.

When Numatic began to supply the major high-street retailers, the colour combinations remained the same. Frankly, I don't know why Numatic even bother with a colour choice as consumers probably don't care. Everyone seems to think Henry is red and that a different colour means a different type of Henry, and so on.

I bought my George brand new in Yellow! Looks different, but shows dirt and marks like nothing else!

Here it is being used for what its mainly used for nowadays, cleaning out cars!

I do remember reading a review on dooyoo on a Numatic George, by beko1987 the username was, they mentioned a yellow one & that their old went bang after someone sucked up oil in it.

Cor that's a blast from the past! The 1998 one was my stepdads, mum knocked some oil over and he used it to clean it up! Ruined it as it hit the motor and went everywhere!

I've sucked most things up with mine and it's been fine! The yellow one is the same one!

I thought so! You write good reviews to be honest. :)
