Here's my question.....
Seeing how the bearing caps can be taken off of the brush rolls on both the G-Series Kirbys and any later ball bearing replacements for the Classics I'm wondering if the end caps for the Classic replacement brush rolls will fit on the bearings of the oblique angled brush-roll?
I'll attach a photo of said bearings to clarify.
I wondered if anyone has done this. That way I don't have to drop $$$ on a new oblique only to find out that it didn't quite work.
I'd like to retrofit my Classic III to use the Oblique, the stiffened bristles would really raise the nap on my carpet.
I have a 4 row brush roll in my Omega and the 2 row replacement (ball bearing) in my Classic III.
I'm thinking that the Oblique angled brush would really improve Classic III's cleaning ability and make it a little easier to push.
Is it Possible?
, Derek
