I was at my favorite thrift shop about a week ago, looking at a Kirby Heritage II. I'd seen it a couple of days earlier and was back for a second look since it was half-price day. I could have gotten the thing for about $7 that day, but I decided to pass on it because somebody had robbed a few parts off of it, including the cord, since I'd seen it previously. Sort of made it hard to test without a cord.

But as a consolation prize of sorts, there was an almost complete G-series accessory kit, which I picked up for $4. It had everything but the wands and the little handle that you would use when you convert the machine for 'canister' operation. Fortunately, I have another partial accessory kit that has the wands and the handle. Between two, I now have duplicates on the hardwood floor tool, the crevice tool, the hose, and the caddy.

Judging from the color of the plastic I believe my partial accessory kit was for an Ultimate G. Everything is a medium gray. The one I picked up at the thrift shop has an identical medium gray caddy and medium gray hose, except the hose ends are a dark charcoal color (not quite a pure black), as are the rest of the accessories. from the color, I think this is a G4 accessory pack. One other difference is the hardwood floor tool I have in the medium gray is all plastic, whereas the charcoal one has a metal bottom plate. I'm going to put together the best of these pieces into a single kit for my G-Six and sell off the rest, along with a handful of Tradition/Heritage vintage accessories I've got sitting around.
