So yesterday I responded to an ad in my area- claiming that he had 3 "old" vacuums. Well, I went there, and they were all out there, with a "for sale" sign in front of it. For $30 I got this dirt devil sensation, which must be uncommon, because I've never seen one, not even a picture, a compact c4 anniversary with the original hose, and a hoover that floats on air. I have never seen one of those. I have seen one similar to it, but not this one. It was made in Canada, and it says "hoover Canada" on the back. It also has an unusually long hose. I would like info on it.
The dirt devil needed the brushroll to be oiled, and a new bag. It is missing the brush. The compact works well, but it is missing all the tools except the hose. The hoover also works, but the switch is broken, so it turns on immediately once you plug it in, and it has tape on the hose. it only has the crevice tool. It needed bags too, which I couldn't find, so I took a hoover celebrity bag, and took the holder from the bag in this hoover and taped it to the new bag. I will post pics, I think $30 was an ok price, considering I've never seen 2/3 of these machines before!

That's a HOOVER "Celebrity"

It's like a squashed down Constellation. They are a great machine. It looks (from the tape), like someone cut off the ends of 2 hoses and joined them together, thus the"'unusually long hose.".
