My new favorite Sebo is the Sebo 370 Comfort. I do not own one yet but love the fact that it has the brush adjustment of the G1 and a 2 motor system. |

I don't know if they changed this with the comfort but my older 370 lacks a brush on/off control if i recall the only thing that does shut off the brush is either putting the vacuum upright or removing the wand i always found this kind of annoying as i will use my uprights on my hard flooring as well if they have the option.

The new one has a brush roll on/off. It is a very quiet upright. In terms of handling, I find they're just about the same with the original Sebo X1 Auto.
Personally I think that was one reason to why SEBO designed the ET-1 floor head for the Felix and Dart commercial version - it naturally accents the L shape of the 370 and the previous X2 & X3 commercial uprights. |

Not sure which I like better. Probably the Sebo name because is would be more rare in the United States. Also thinking aout Sebo K3 or D4, both built like a tank. |

I have a K3 Premium and I can't stand it. Its a great vacuum with a suction only floor head. When the power head is attached, its far too heavy. Far prefer having the electronic hose with the suction control slider and a lighter floor head on the end.
Sadly the electrics are the main problem with the SEBO K3's = the pigtail connection between the hose and the electric tubes are the main culprits. I have never owned a D4 (and still wouldn't) so I dont know what they are like - but I do have a K1 Pet (non-PN model) and a D2 Total (non-PN model) and both are pretty good and very durable. |

I thought the problem with the K3 was. Resolved with the newer power heads? They are built like tanks compared to Miele. |

I always knew SEBO power heads had easily-replaceable brush rolls, but I never knew they had a model with easily-replaceable brush strips! Who is the target market for the 370/Versamatic? The $700 they ask for one new is not that bad compared to other high-end machines. The TOL Miele S7 sells for hundreds more. |

The 370 & Versamatic is for the commercial field only. I only know of a few domestic homes that have these uprights as opposed to the X/Sensor based models and of course the X4, X5 etc. Miele's model may well be more expensive but that doesn't mean its fit for purpose in that type of industry. I think Miele should consider commercial vacuums though, but I think they just leave it up to the likes of SEBO, Karcher etc to fill that niche.
A Sebo BS36 for example in the UK has a general price of £330 compared to a Miele S7 at £249 to £300. SEBO also sell a permanent washable dust bag for the BS series. Vegas - The ET1 and ETH are very similar with only a few differences. The pig tail problems still remain on the K series with the connection plug that slides into the bottom of the electronic handle before the main tube at the top. The tubes themselves have an additional electrical rod that slides down the back of the telescopic height adjustable part with a 2/3 pin connection already fitted at the bottom unlike the separate deal with the C series cylinder vacs. Thus, it has little to do with the actual power nozzle problems. ET-1 has a brush roll on/off and manual adjustment. It is also slightly larger than the older ET-H. |

Well, I treat my vacuums like vacuums. But whilst I like the K series a lot, its a lighter vacuum than most, but with the ETH floor head added it adds more than 2kg onto the total weight. The K series was supposed to be a light cylinder vac by design. Also, IMHO the sooner SEBO get rid of the daft pull to pull auto cord rewind on the K series the better. I adore the old C vacs - a conventional pedal is far more reliable for the cord to rewind.
