When I just tested my Kirby Classic III with its newly-installed fan case gasket seal, with the hose on, I got the fast speed back.

So, I would like to ask you all: is it true that a worn-out fan case O-ring gasket can lead to a loss of speed with the hose on it???

I also want to find out if, after the 24-hour long duration of letting the plastic sealant dry, that should I use the hose or anything on it? I don't want to run the risk of premature gasket wear.

Thank you,

Ben
