Yes but John Lewis is a premium high street store - Argos are lucky if you get them in store plus not all stores are the same size and thus you may have to wait. As for Amazon, well its online.

Compared to all the rest JL are very good in terms of customer service as far as I'm concerned. They also sell a good deal of clearance premium vacuums, especially Bosch, Miele, SEBO and DYSON if they have been used on the shop floor. It really is worth visiting a store if there's one near you. Last time I visited both Glasgow and Edinburgh stores, they were selling ex-demo Oreck uprights for £100!

The nearest one near me is Chester plus I like Argos - It reminds of when I was really young as we always went in there then. Besides - my vacuum taste is different to yours :)

Well the post wasn't added for your benefit, but rather for all UK members - JL is a reassuringly expensive store, so it is a surprise to find that the Vax vacuum so cheaply priced. They are selling the same version in the swivel Air3 version for the original price that was only on there a couple of weeks ago £249 to £300!

I know - I'm just pointing out 2 other places you can purchase it from at the same price.

I think they're horrid machines so I wouldn't even pay £100 for one!!

Poor hose design and poor deep cleaning action
