Hi everyone, I just wanted to know if my good old Kirby Heritage deserves a new cloth bag. The one on mine is faded and stained in several places, not to mention the paint peeling off the Sani-Emp-Tor.

I have attached a picture of one of the stained parts of it, more to come...

Noah,

Kirby used to sell touch-up paint to keep the powder-coated areas of the Heritage intact. They dropped that after the Heritage was replaced by the Heritage II in 1984.

The bag

If you get a new bag I would love to by your old one. I have a kirby that is side lined because it does not have a bag.

IF the new bag is the one in your last pic, it has the short zipper because it does not use disposable bags. The pic of the bag in the First picture seems to have the full zipper, and so would use disposable bags.

I knew that. I bought it because it had the rare shakeout bag :D
