Triple Brush Cleaner for Deep Down Cleaning...

Nearly choked on my own laughter then.

Triple row

But they did have a triple row of bristles.

No but my point is they can't deep clean.

"The World's First Bagless Vacuum Cleaner"! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.

Millions of Rainbow owners prior to 1993 would beg to differ with that lie.

one could argue that the model 0 was the first bag less as it did not require a disposable bag

I'd rather have had that Delongi Combi 800 - those were great vacuums.

I believe this pic has already been posted in one of the many catalogue threads?

We had a DC02 but it got clogged with hair & burnt out the motor :(

Think, you could buy 2 Delonghi's for the price of one Dyson.

Turbo500 - don't you have a Delonghi???

I'm mightily unimpressed with my dc01, seriously considering the fact that I've left some rubber seal out somewhere, but can't find a missing one lying about!

Would rather the delonghi!

Citroen BX

citroenbx, do you own and drive a BX by any chance? I happen to be a BX owner, it's my main/only car and I wouldn't trade it for anything!

sorry for the off-topicness

Ti, I would find that very surprising (not to mention illegal) considering the OP was born in 1998.

Oops, my bad. I tend to assume everyone on a forum is at least as old as me!

I once drove an Xantia - the BX replacement. I wasn't impressed. Tried a BX TD though which was just amazing, but then the French generally make excellent diesel engines - they're known for it.

XM's are cool, but need constant work to keep them sweet! Mine's got a fair number of issues which I'm ignoring until I can afford to fix them!

Had a G reg BX TDI in black, fantastic car! Love the styling inside and out!

By far the best car anyone in the family has owned, would love to get one myself!

Bagless and Cyclonic Action . . .

Dyson always amuses/ticks me off with their implication of being the first with bagless vacuums plus all that bragging about cyclonic action. As noted above Rainbow beat them to bagless by decades as did Filter Queen and Compact with cyclonic action. Filter Queens and Compacts don't have conventional disposable bags either. I wouldn't swap any of my Compacts for a plastic Dyson even if some do clean well!

BTW I like old Citroens too, having owned Dyane, DS/ID and SM models. Citroen pulled out of the US after '73 so we never got the CX, BX, XM or Xantia :(. Some CXs were brought in privately but that was very difficult and expensive; once Peugeot got control of Citroen in '75 they made sure only Peugeots would be officially sold here until they gave up in '91 and left too.
