Hi guys,
I'm using an Australian made electolux d740 with a ZE3 Aus made electrolux power nozzle, orange in colour.
When plugged in, sometimes the brush won't move, it needs to be pushed with your fingers to get it going.
It also doesn't make much noise...

Is there any way of "servicing" this powerhead or should I look into getting a replacement? The add on ebay looked like it had been well looked after, but the light cover is missing and I have a feeling it might be worn out.
I did receive the original box and instructions for it though.

Is the not starting due to a slipping belt or the motor not starting?

If a slipping belt the answer is obvious.

Motor not starting could be a dead spot on the motor. Since turning it results in start up that supports the hypothesis. Might also check wiring to see if anything is lose.
