Hi Folks
Its only since discovering this club and being on the internet that i saw pics for the very first time of canadian lux cylinders ie zb55s etc that had these sleigh/tool caddy/cordwinder systems that appear to be all in one. I dont think we had this in the uk well i never seen one, although the machines seem to be the same "loaf" ones we had here. can anyone tell me did they come as an additional extra or did the machine come like that? also didnt the cordwinder restrict exhaust air flow? or was that what the 2 side bars on the filter cover were for? i always thought they were to stand the machine on if you wanted to?
si

Hi Si:
The picture you have seen shows our Z55 with the optional cord winder and tool kit. They were add on extras and not very common. The air flow wasnt restricted by the cord reel as the side bars (which also allowed the machine to be run while standing on end) kept it a a sufficient distance out to allow good air flow. The only Major difference between your 55 and ours is the skids - ours are a wire style like on the model 12's where are the UK model 55 had a plated steel channel attached to the bottom of the body.
