hi folkes
Recently bought a maytag sat.Advantages~ good machine ;fantastic suction .good tools nice turbo rug nozzle, good telescopic tube, nice generously long cord.disadvantages~ too short hose gets shorter with suction,no under blower port like old connies why? no suction control on hose handle on a machine that really does need it!!!! any comments? dont you think traditional connie hose would work well/?

too much suction

I love the new connies but don't have one yet, just my model 843 Connie, the turbo rug nozzle sounds like the one on my Riccar canister,it has a suction relief and really needs it,on some carpets like the short loop type on full suction it will clamp down and make it hard to push,I know what you mean about those hoses,I have a Sharp upright with such strong suction if you use the hose it will pull the machine towards you.
