...is now off my wish list and on my collection list, since I got this little gem today (no pun intended.)

The chrome was tarnished, the bag was packed to the brim, the lightbulb was burnt out, and the belt was inside out and had some gouge marks in it. I polished it a bit, popped in a new bag and belt, and it works wonderfully!

Soon I hope to give it a good day at my Spa, once I find some good buffing equipment and more time. The black scuffs on the belt lifter were easily scrubbed off with a Magic Eraser after I took the picture.

Serial number 7031205496.

Yep, sure is.

Technically it's a four speed (low-normal, low-delicate, high-normal, high-delicate)

Best of luck with your Diamond Edition! I've had mine for a while now, I bought it NIB on eBay when it was the outgoing Kirby model. I've loved it ever since, and I even picked up a regular Ultimate G at a garage sale several years ago for quite a steal, and it came with all the attachments and shampooer too. I wish that Kirby kept the switch for low speed, I don't use mine as a daily driver but when I do use it, its nice to be able to clean area rugs or door mats with the machine and not worry that the rug will be sucked half way up the nozzle.
