Here are some of my "Sweeper Miniatures." I do have more miniature stuff, but it's packed away in a box in my closet. Among other things, I have a deck of Canasta cards with the Kirby D50 logo on the back.

Hi Charles Richard.

So you do have the Electrolux model G. ashtray. Were you the one who gave me mine?

Alex Taber.

I Agree!

That's an amazing collection! I only have a few myself, the Ford Hoover delivery truck, Hoover 82 tape measure, turquois Electrolux G bank in the box (unfortunately, 2 wheels are broken off), and a Kirby ashtray.

John, that's something that I made up from one of the Kirby banks. As a little joke I posted photos of it here and asked if anyone had seen a model like it -- without anything else in the photo to determine its size, I did fool pretty much everyone!

Here's the "trick photo" and then of an original bank, one that I gave Rick Wilson (R.I.P.) who was just about as happy to get it as I was to get the Lux bank!! :)

btw, my turquoise Lux G bank should look familiar to you! :) That was what started my miniatures collection, long before they started showing up by the dozen on eBay! I'll always treasure it and the memories of our friendship that it represents.

Yes, you gave me a Kirby almost like the one Rick was holding. When I can get to it, I'll post a picture of "Ken" vacuuming with it (from Ken and Barbie)...it actually was just the right size.

That'll be a fun photo to see! :) I'd forgotten I'd given you one of the banks.

Wow, amazing.

That's unquestionably the best collection of miniatures I've ever seen.  I've seen a few of those pieces, the more common Electrolux banks, but none of the others.  I'm guessing that took many years to construct.
