That Montgomery Wards Majestic is circa 1935-36 and was made for Wards by Apex Elec. Co.. I have the Apex "Which-Way" Upright that would be from the same time-frame. I had it with me in 2008 at the Hoover VCCC convention. If you check back in those pictures. You will see it I believe.
It's a very overbuilt cleaner, and I had to totally restore mine when it came to me. All new wiring etc. The roller was replaced with an early Kirby 505 style roller with some major modifications, and I hand buffed it twice to get the shine it had. It now sits in storage with it's award for Best Restored. Hope that helps... Chad |
