Kind of reminds me of a cross between a kenmore/beevac or ge or premiere?

I don't know if you can see it but there's a little height adjustment on the underside and on the top of the base with a cut out so you can see what you have it set on

That Montgomery Wards Majestic is circa 1935-36 and was made for Wards by Apex Elec. Co.. I have the Apex "Which-Way" Upright that would be from the same time-frame. I had it with me in 2008 at the Hoover VCCC convention. If you check back in those pictures. You will see it I believe.

It's a very overbuilt cleaner, and I had to totally restore mine when it came to me. All new wiring etc. The roller was replaced with an early Kirby 505 style roller with some major modifications, and I hand buffed it twice to get the shine it had. It now sits in storage with it's award for Best Restored.

Hope that helps...

Chad

Here's my Montgomery Wards Supreme, which should be just like your Majestic with the exception that mine is painted and yours is polished aluminum. Apex built these cleaners for Montgomery Wards.

Your handle is definitely NOT original. Apex had a very unique and distinctive handle grip and switch.

Some of these!!

Are very unusual in that the brush rotates backwards!
