Hey guys well a couple of days ago I was vacuuming with my blue Eureka ESP Self-propelled and I was vacuuming my brothers' room and I got a little too close to his shoes and then... yup... you guessed it. It sucked up the shoelaces. I turned the vacuum off almost immediately after that happened, it was about two more seconds after it sucked it up but before I shut it off, the motor made a very whiny metal ringing-like noise. There was no burning smell in case you guys wanna know that as well. I haven't turned on the vacuum since that happened but I want to hear what you guys think. I just mainly want to know what caused that noise and if the vacuum will be ok. Thanks!!
